MENINAS STEM SCHOLARSHIP SELECTION NOTICE

The coordination of the Meninas STEM Petrópolis Tec Hub Project announces the results of the selection process for new Junior Scientific Initiation (ICJ) 2026 scholarship holders.

The distribution of positions has been adjusted for better utilization of available scholarships, in accordance with the provisions of the Notice.

The list below presents the selected candidates, organized in alphabetical order, with indication of their affiliated institution.

MENINAS STEM SCHOLARSHIP SELECTION NOTICE

1. PURPOSE OF THE ADDENDUM

This addendum aims to extend the deadline for disclosing the final results of the selection process for the ICJ 2026 Notice – Meninas STEM Petrópolis Tec Hub Project.

This change is necessary to allow the coordination to complete the analysis of scholarship holders currently linked to the project, whose renewal is conditioned on maintaining enrollment in partner institutions. Since the confirmation of these enrollments will only be announced in the week of December 18-22, it is essential to await this result to define the exact number of positions available for new scholarship holders.

LNCC

The National Laboratory of Scientific Computing is a Brazilian Research and Technological Research Institution, specializing in scientific computing, linked to the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.

SERRATEC

Serratec is a non -profit technology park in the interior of the state of Rio de Janeiro, acting as a business inductor in IT and covering the cities of Petrópolis, Teresópolis, Nova Friburgo and Areal.

FAETEJ PETROPOLIS

Faeterj Petrópolis is a public higher education institution linked to Faetec, offering technical and higher courses in various areas.

CEFET/RJ UNED Petrópolis

CEFET/RJ Petrópolis is the first public higher education institution in the city, offering courses in the face -to -face modality and belonging to the CEFET/RJ System.

UFF

The Fluminense Federal University (UFF) is a public higher education institution of national reference, standing out in various areas of knowledge.

UFBA

The Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) is a public higher education institution based in Salvador, linked to the Ministry of Education, with administrative and legal autonomy.

TJ-RJ

The Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice (TJ-RJ) is responsible for the administration of justice in the state, with jurisdiction over the entire Fluminense territory.

Petrópolis City Hall

The City Hall of Petrópolis manages the historic city located in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro, implementing public policies and services for the population.

SEEDUC-RJ

Seeduc-RJ is responsible for managing the educational policies of the State of Rio de Janeiro, ensuring access to quality education in state public schools.

Who participates?

Students will be selected from the 8th and 9th anniversary of Elementary School II and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd years of high school, following the criteria of the project, together with at least one teacher of each of the participating schools. Fellows will be involved in the following activities and objectives:

Learning on Programming

Development of Educational Games on the Scratch platform

Participation in a Science Club

Presence in scientific dissemination events

Participation in lectures and seminars

Preparation of intermediate and final reports
